• 2 years of security officer, law enforcement, private investigator, military police, or other related field experience.
• Clean driving record suitable for insurance purposes, no DUIs or DWI convictions can be accepted.
• Valid Washington State drivers licence.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Washington State Security Guard License.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• No felony convictions ever, nor convictions for misdemeanor domestic violence. 
• Able to walk, run, and climb stairs frequently.
• Able to spend up to 12 hours at times working in and out of a company vehicle in all weather conditions.
• Have the ability to respond to potentially violent situations in a calm and respectful manner. Able to make quick judgments and adapt to different situations.
• Able to provide own equipment, including duty belt, bullet resistant vest, pepper spray, & handcuffs.
• Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to talk to and approach persons in a polite and friendly manner.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• Fluent in the English Language, we encourage bi-lingual applicants.
• Ability to operate a personal computer.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Able to pass a oral panel interview with 3 supervisors.

1. I've had a prior misdemeanor conviction, can I still apply? Yes, however we review those convictions based on length of time passed and other convictions. If it prevents you from obtaining a security license, it prevents us from hiring you.
2. How long after I submit my application should I hear something?  Expect 2-4 weeks, however this is depending on other candidates experience and available positions.
3. I'm out of state, can I e-mail in a resume? Yes, please be sure to list any out of state experience and licenses on your resume if applicable. You will need to travel to the Tacoma, WA area for an interview.
4. Will you train me to get my security guard license? Yes, however you must still meet all the requirements listed, this includes the experience.
